Analysis of Buffer Map Cheating Attacks in mobile P2P live streaming system based on game Theory With the rapid growth of wireless and mobile communication technology, P2P live streaming application is extending to mobile peers. In order to prevent Buffer Map Cheating (BMC) attacks in mobile P2P livestreaming system, we model the chunks exchanging behavior between neighboring mobile peers under an infinitely repeated two-player game theoretic framework. The Nash Equilibrium is refined based on proportional fairness optimality. An optimal and cheat-proof strategy for preventing BMC attacks is proposed. The experiment results show that the strategy proposed can prevent mobile peers from BMC attacks and cheating on their private information.
